I have recognized several trends, which I outlined last week. This week I spent most of my time creating the representations that I am sharing on the tabs. I would love everyone's feedback on trends they see or recognize. Below are a couple other things that I recognized this week.
1. My high student stays engaged most of the time and will rise to the challenge when I give her more challenging work. She occasionally gets distracted and talks with her friends, but she does well.
2. My low student does well as long as the lessons are focused and I am able to circulate and keep him focused. When things are well planned and I have different levels within my lesson, he does an excellent job of being focused, working, and understanding the material.
3. My average student is the one that I have to watch out for the most. He is satisfied with knowing the minimum and doesn't get excited like my lower level student when he understands the material. I'm not sure if I haven't spent enough time focusing on my middle students or that I have been observing a student that is just happy being in the middle and counting down the days until he is done with a math class.
I look forward to hearing everyone's input and thoughts on what I have collected during the past 3 weeks.
